We offer refresher training for cabin crew members who have had a break of six months or more from flight duty but who are still within the validity period of the last check. The training covers equipment and the necessary drills with regard to the respective aircraft type.

Topics

Training is provided by experienced and qualified instructors and covers at least the following topics:

  • Emergency procedures including pilot incapacitation
  • Evacuation procedures including crowd control techniques
  • Operation and opening of each type or variant of normal and emergency exits in normal and emergency modes, including failure of power-assisted systems (where applicable). This includes the action and forces required to operate and deploy evacuation slides.
  • The operation of all other exits including flight deck windows.
  • The location and handling of emergency equipment, including oxygen systems, issuing lifejackets, portable oxygen and protective breathing equipment.

Requirements

Cabin crew members must have completed Initial Safety Training and Conversion Training.

Duration

1-3 days

Additional information

The course is entirely tailored to customer needs. It is conducted by SAT on behalf of the operator. The operator must have the course approved by the relevant authority.
