Swiss AviationTraining (SAT) will formally surrender its rights and entitlements as a Maintenance Training Organisation on 31 December 2016 and will transfer the management and conducting of all its technical training to Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT) with effect from 1 January 2017.

Your new contact for booking your training will now be Lufthansa Technical Training.

Swiss AviationTraining (SAT) is pleased to announce that it has been granted ATO status (Approved Training Organisation). SAT has hitherto operated with FTO status (Flying Training Organisation) in accordance with the provisions of JAR FCL1, JAA (Joint Aviation Authorities).

Swiss AviationTraining (SAT) has become the first – and to date the only – Approved Training Organisation (ATO) to offer its customers the latest version of the innovative and efficient Virtual Maintenance Trainer (VMT) for Airbus A320 technical training. 

Swiss Aviation Training (SAT) represents their services together with SWISS from 9 to 12 April 2014 at the AERO14 in Friedrichshafen on booth A3-205.

The civil aviation authority of the Russian Federation has certified Swiss AviationTraining (SAT) to provide maintenance training for the Embraer 170 and 190 aircraft types. SAT’s practically-oriented basic and further E-Jet training for technical personnel was formally approved by the Russian aviation authority for Levels B1, B2, B3 and C on November 6th.

Revised Winter Operations web-based training is now available. The training has been revised to meet the changes of the AEA recommendations for de-icing/anti-icing, aeroplanes on the ground 28th edition, July 2013.

Swiss AviationTraining (SAT) is to add a Boeing 777 full-flight simulator to its range of training facilities at Zurich Airport. The expansion follows the placement of an order by Swiss International Air Lines for several new Boeing 777-300ERs, which its pilots will begin to convert onto from 2015.

With its state-of-the-art simulator facilities, SAT possesses the best possible technical platform to provide professional initial and further training that meet all of today’s airline operating needs. In the end, though, the success of any training will depend to a large extent on the instructor: their expertise, their didactic skills and their sensitivity to the trainee’s individual needs. We’ve been talking with Jean-Daniel Grima, one of our experienced E-Jet instructors.
